Why it matters

Proceeds from the walk/run support Lakeside Oasis, which opened in July 2014 as the end-of-life comfort care wing at Lake Ridge Care Center. The foundation raises funds toward the wing's construction and ongoing operational needs.

Local businesses and organizations have supported the event over the years, and the day is built around participation from walkers, runners, families, and volunteers across Wright County.
